TISHA B’AV PRAYER SERVICE
FOR ISRAEL AND JEWISH COMMUNITIES IN DANGER
Sunday, August 14th -2PM
Isaiah Peace Wall, Opposite U.N.
First Ave. & 43rd St., Manhattan
For nearly 30 years, we have gathered annually on Tisha B’Av to pray for Jewish communities in danger. This year, the dangers are especially stark and immediate to our brethren
- In Gush Katif, whose deportations are slated to begin the very next day.
- Across Israel, who face the threats of suicide bombers and terror rockets.
- In Europe and former Soviet Union, wracked by increasing act of anti-Semitism.
- In Ethiopia, where thousand still languish, dreaming of Israel.
- In Argentina, Iran, and even in our own US and Canada.
Make your Tisha B’Av meaningful.
Join us for our traditional, full mincha service, complete with Torah reading.
Please bring your prayer book; men: your tallis and tefillin, if possible.
Sponsored by Amcha-Coalition for Jewish Concerns 212-663-5784
