(IsraelNN.com) A spokesman from the Yesha Council announced a short while ago that the Council is shocked by the hallucinatory lies that were reported by Amnon Abramovitch this evening in the evening news on Channel 2. Abramovitch announced that the Council originally thought to name the “Walk of Connection” “The Walk of Life”, just like the walk that commemorates the Holocaust is called.
There was never such an idea according to the spokesman. The “Walk of Connection” was a joint decision, acceptable to all the different groups involved. In addition, the Council objected to Abramovitch’s attempt to portray the walk as a violent act. “Channel Two’s commentator who is protecting the Prime Minister like an etrog, has himself turned into a lulav that stabs with unbased lies anyone who may doubt the holiness of the etrog,” the spokesman added.
This comment refers to the etrog, the citrus fruit that is used on the Sukkot holiday and is closely guarded that no harm should be done to it during the seven-day holiday. The lulav is a pointy stem of the date palm which is also used during the Sukkot holiday."
