Vitaly Vovnoboy locked up in Jerusalem

Vitaly Vovnoboy owns rjews.net domain. His whife Asya Entova is a leading Russian-Jewish activist of Zo Artzeinu/Manhigut Israel. Asya writes on www.rjews.net/gazeta and many could enjoy her photographs there.
This morning Vitaly was arrested in the middle of the night without a proper warrant. Details can be found here and here (in Russian).
Vitaly is locked up now in Jerusalem (ironically Russian compound).
Jerusalem court has extended his arrest by three days. He is accused of owning the website ru.baitle.org (possibly its Hebrew part as well) dedicated to non-violent civil disobedience protest against disengagement. Apparently the claim is that the site contains incitement. This is especially cynical in the context of recent publications on and other mainstream Israeli outlets, which among other call for the public to beat the protesters, pour gasoline on them, and so on (no actions taken on those calls)...
Vovnoboy's son is currently serving in the army and has publicly announced that he would not participate in the deporting of Jews from Gaza. He has faced various disciplinary measures which some have commented were unreasonably severe. Some time ago Vovnoboy wrote how he was "invited" to the Shabak where apparently they were trying to enlist his services, but having experience with the KGB, Vovnoboy left as soon as he established that they have no formal order to hold or interrogate him.
Among the items confiscated in the arrests were the letters which Vovnoboy related to the collecting the signatures of the Likud Center members calling to remove Sharon from the position of the party Chairman since he violated the platform of the party and its decisions. Some speculate that this is the real reason for the arrest.
