(IsraelNN.com) A new web site has been launched to act as a clearinghouse for documenting police brutality, Shabak (GSS) trickery and to generally document the historic struggle against the expulsion of Jews from their homes.
"There is a burning need for a more comprehensive documentation of the increasingly frightening and violent patterns of behavior employed by official state organs to manage and quell public dissent," says Timna Katz of Gush Etzion, who launched the site.
Tiud.Org asks all people involved in protest activities to document their experience in the streets, at demonstrations, in detention, and in court. It also asks people who videotaped or photographed at demonstrations to catalogue the material they captured.
One of the goals of the site is to help those arrested during protests prove their innocence or police wrongdoing. For example, a protester falsely charged with violence against police officers can locate video footage and eyewitnesses to support his contentions via the site.

And I want to mention that if you haven`t clicked on the above link yet the site is for both those who speak English as well as Hebrew.
