Rabbi Yigal Kirschenzaft, Chabad Representative (Chabad Hassidus open's 'Chabad Houses', places of worship and Jewish learning, throughout the world) in Neve Dekalim, Gush Katif was hit by a mortar shelling attack in Neve Dekalim. Rabbi Kirschenzaft was standing outside the home of a Neve Dekalim resident when the mortar shell hit. R. Kirschenzaft was injured in his arm and leg and in the neck.
His son has contacted General Dan Harel and asked the secretary: "I want to know how many people need to be injured before you decide to go on a military operation?" The secretary told him that she will give a note to Harel in middle of a meeting. Rabbi Kirschenzaft is listed in moderate condition.
People are requested to add him to your prayers, saying Tehillim (Psalms) for Yigal ben Zahava.
