Sharon defeats disengagement rebels.
Coalition chairman Gideon Sa'ar, meanwhile promised on Tuesday that the rebels will not leave the Likud and establish a separate party, despite the deep divisions between them and Sharon. The government last week faced a tangible danger it would break apart due to the split with the Likud party, Sa'ar told reporters, admitting that during the past few months "there were a number of points when we were not far from anarchy in government institutions."
Meanwhile, Sharon appoints new deputy ministers despite some Likud rebels disapproval. Will be there a political revolution in Israel over the disengagement...or is it happening now?
